EXPANDED ART ARRIVES AT IDEAL, DIGITAL ARTS CENTER

Jordi Pericot is the introducer and greatest exponent of kinetic art in Catalonia. The art proposed by Pericot expands to other realities, proposes changes and socializes creativity. Long before it became popular, Pericot included technology and computing in our aesthetic categories, advancing what would become cybernetic art.

“Pericot: Expanded Art” is an innovative exhibition and, at the same time, a tribute full of optimism to one of the artists to be vindicated of our contemporaneity. The exhibition features an unpublished selection of original works by Pericot, along with new immersive and interactive installations created by digital artists in dialogue with their original creations.
